Wu is Paying HOW MUCH to Prepare for Sanctuary City Hearing??!
Mayor Wu is having a bad week.
A knife wielding madman tried to stab people at the Boylston Street Chick-fil-A and luckily an off duty cop sprang into action. The Boston Police officer shot and killed the attacker and likely prevented the deaths of several patrons at the restaurant.
Most public officials would have started their presser by thanking the courageous cop for defending the patrons and preventing what could have been a deadly stabbing spree.
But not Michelle. She is not most public officials.
It gets worse.
The Mayor is supposed to appear at a Wednesday hearing on Capitol Hill that is focused on Sanctuary Cities.
She is so confident in her ability to defend her horrible ideas, decisions and policies that she is paying BIG MONEY to “prepare” for this showdown.
Oh, I’m sorry– did I say Wu was paying big money? I meant the residents in the city of Boston are paying big money.
The prep sessions included staff from the Mayor’s Office, Law Department, Boston Police and other senior advisors and leaders from the Cabinet, as well as an external law firm, Cahill Gordon & Reindel. The city retained Cahill for a rate of $950 an hour and expects to pay the firm up to $650,000 for legal work related to the March 5 hearing, committee investigation, and production of related documents, the mayor’s office said.
This woman is an embarrassment and has no business being anywhere near public office ever again.
I hope this hearing and members of the GOP expose her utter incompetence for the entire country to see.
