You may have heard of Barack Obama’s composite girlfriend. Perhaps you are familiar with Cory Booker’s imaginary drug dealer friend T-Bone. But none of those embellished or made up characters hold a candle to Chuck Schumer’s decade-long friendship with The Baileys.

Left-wing comedian and host John Oliver exposed the Senator’s bizarre obsession with the couple that doesn’t exist during a segment on his show. And it is worth watching.

Did the fictional Baileys teach Schumer how to grill a hamburger?

That would explain a lot…
