Look deeper at Andrew McCabe, because alt-left media won’t
And now it’s time for the rest of the story about crooked G-man Andrew McCabe.
This is important as we prepare for a weekend of unctuous oohing and ahhing in the alt-left media over the fired FBI director.
Sunday night he’ll be treated as a conquering hero on 60 Minutes, that perennial destination for dodgy Democrats down through the decades.
He’ll be portrayed as the greatest lawman since Wyatt Earp, because after becoming the head fed in May 2017 he immediately opened the phony-baloney Russia “investigation” of President Trump.
“I was very concerned that I was able to put the Russia case on absolutely solid ground, in an indelible fashion. That were I removed quickly, or reassigned or fired, that the case could not closed or vanish in the night without a trace.”
For starters, what “Russia case,” exactly? There is no case – even Peter Strzok, another of the bent G-men, admitted to his gal pal that “there is no there there.”
It’s a hoax. It wasn’t a “case,” it was a failed frame up, an attempted coup by Democrats against a duly elected Republican president of the United States.
Keep all that in mind as you watch the Democrat operatives on network TV describing McCabe in hushed, reverential terms. But oddly, McCabe’s fellow travelers in the media have zero interest in the crimes he was committing during this same time frame when he was allegedly saving the nation from Trump.
Namely, lying under oath, over and over and over again, to his boss James Comey, to the FBI’s Inspection Division and to the Inspector General of the Justice Department.
As Trump tweeted, “He LIED! LIED! LIED!”
Which is a more accurate description of the Democrat hack the way the media lefties were describing him yesterday, as a “former official,” or, my favorite, “McCabe Speaks Out.”
Of course he’s promoting his new book – “The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump.”
Ironic that McCabe’s first blast of publicity came yesterday, on the first anniversary of the Parkland High School shooting. A month before that terrible massacre, the killer’s aunt called the FBI tip line and told them that her young relative was going to shoot up a school. The tip was never passed on the cops in Broward County.
So much for how the FBI protects America in the age of terror and Trump.
McCabe’s serial lying was laid out last year in a report by the DOJ’s Inspector General. McCabe had leaked a story to the Wall Street Journal, and he was adamantly denying that he’d done it. Finally, he was interviewed under oath, on May 9, 2017.
That was the same day Comey was fired, and he became acting director of the “nation’s premier law enforcement agency.” I doubt even J. Edgar Hoover committed multiple felonies on his first day on the job.
Finally, when he realized he was busted, McCabe decided to “correct” the record – isn’t it great to be a Democrat puke?
The G-men asked him, did you leak the story?
“And as nice as could be, he said yep. Yep I did.” This is on page 20 of the report.
The agent then asked McCabe about his serial lying.
“I remember saying to him, I said, sir, you understand that we put a lot of work into this based on what you’ve told us. I mean, and I even said, long nights and weekends working on this, trying to find out who amongst your ranks of trusted people would do something like that. And he kind of just looked down, kind of nodded and said, yeah, I’m sorry.”
He’s sorry. And the IG made a criminal referral to the grand jury. But nothing to see here, folks, move along.
Ditto, the fact that he was brooming the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation just after his wife got $675,000 from a PAC run by Clinton moneybags Terry McAuliffe for her campaign… for the Virginia state senate.
Here’s another inconvenient truth the alt-left media are giving a good leaving alone to – the fact that McCabe spent $70,000 in taxpayer money on a conference table for his office. The FBI then redacted that fact in documents it provided to a Senate committee, so no one would know how extravagantly McCabe was spending money.
When the Senate found out about that cover-up, Sen. Chuck Grassley wrote the feds: “I am unaware of any legitimate basis on which the cost of a conference table should be redacted. Embarrassment is not a good enough reason.”
Embarrassment – that’s a good way to describe both McCabe and the hopelessly corrupt organization he disgraced. From crime-fighting to crime-fixing – you’ve come a long way, G-men.
And now you know… the rest of the story.
