Producer’s Picks – 6.14.21
(You totally read that as Producer’s Piiiiiiiiicks)
Back and exactly as good as ever, no better; that’s my mantra. “The tallest blade of grass is the first to get cut” – a poster I saw once on the internet.
It does feel phenomenal. And awaaay we go!
HBD: First off, happy birthday to President Donald John Trump! The 45th POTUS turns 75 today. Dan Scavino has a great tribute:
Broad Stripes and Bright Stars: It’s also Flag Day, so here’s a good lesson on Flag Day from those who keep it possible.
That was unexpected: I told Grace that I’m old enough to have watched Bill Maher at his peak in the 90’s, and I even remember his stand up. Over the years many Conservatives have parted ways with Bill, but today, both Grace and I were in the strange position of agreeing with him. He really swings the hammer starting at the 5:00 mark.
To quote Jeb Bush – PLEASE CLAP! Grace pointed out this sprang from Bill’s disdain for Gen Z and Millennials, but whatever the catalyst, I’ll take the result.
A Snitch in Time: It must have hit the Karens hard when the Covid snitch line was rendered useless at the beginning of June. But, rest assured, Moonbats of Massachusetts, you still have an outlet for your pointless rage of superiority. The Wellesley School District is asking Students and Faculty to report others for “Incidents of Bias.” My favorite *ahem* standard… by which bias incidents are defined is “demonstrates conscious or unconscious bias” – yes, thank you; you have exhausted all the options. Education indeed…
Well, that’s Producer’s Picks for today – more weekdays at 2:30 pm! And if you miss any Producer’s picks, the podcasts are always available at GraceCurleyShow.com (the website you’re on- just click podcasts).
