Nothing good ever happens after midnight

Why are so many adults drinking and having parties after midnight? Maybe I’ve lived a sheltered life, but I’m sorry, this is far from normal.

I guess there are exceptions such as New Year’s Eve, but really when was the last time you were drinking and having a get together after midnight? 

I do know one thing. If there was a dead body on my lawn, my sister would be breaking down the front door and yelling at me to get downstairs. 

But would she really need to? No! I’d already be outside.  

All the defense has to prove is reasonable doubt. And here are my top 10 doubts:

1. When was the last time you disposed of a cell phone at a military base and cut up the SIM card?  Not normal.
2. When was the last time your friend got rid of their phone within the same day you did?  Not normal.
3. When was the last time you stayed inside your home when there was a dead body on your lawn and many first responders were outside with lights on?  Not normal.
4. When was the last time the feds came to your house and asked if you called anyone in the last 10 minutes and didn’t mention 2?  Not normal.
5. When was the last time you butt dialed anyone after midnight?  Not normal.
6. When was the last time someone butt dialed you back after midnight? Not normal.
7. When was the last time you were searching for ANYTHING on your phone at 2:30 in the morning.  Not normal.
8. When was the last time you were drinking alcohol with your grown children after midnight?  Not normal.
9. When was the last time you “rehomed” your dog?  Not normal.
10. When was the last time you went over to someone’s home after midnight to drink some more.  I’m sorry, but that’s really not normal.

Do you have any self-reflection about the night of January 29^th and how maybe being out after midnight is not a good idea for many reasons? Do you have any self-reflection that drinking massive amounts of alcohol is not a good idea? 

Because, nothing good happens after midnight.
