No more hide-and-seek for bad guys
If only Kamala Harris had won, do you think this bad hombre would finally be locked up?

After a 20-year crime wave, Dominican illegal alien Joel Gonzalez finally ran out of luck, or maybe should I say, he just ran out of Democrats.
“Enough is enough,” the U.S. attorney in Concord NH wrote in the sentencing memo, better late than never. “He has proven incorrigible and a danger to the community.”
That memo was filed Dec. 5 – one month after Donald Trump was elected president.
Proving, once again, that elections have consequences.
At least they have consequences for Joel Gonzalez, a/k/a Joel Gonzalez de la Cruz, a/k/a Joel Cruz, a/k/a Joel King, a/k/a E.C.
If only Kamala Harris had won, do you think this bad hombre would finally be locked up? Or would the 40-year-old savage be back out on the street, continuing to do what he’s always done, which is committing every imaginable type of illegal alien-type crime against Americans.
He’s dealt marijuana, cocaine, fentanyl and heroin. He’s a welfare fraudster – Medicaid and food stamps. He’s a burglar and a receiver of stolen goods. He’s assaulted a girlfriend, and by the way, he has a child, an anchor baby, by one of them. Needless to say, he never married the mother of his illegitimate child.
Child support? No way, amigo. That’s for the stupid gringos.
And yet somehow, no matter how atrocious his actions, as an illegal alien Joel Gonzalez always escaped any sort of punishment.
Until Nov. 5.
I wonder what happened on Nov. 5.
“Over the past two decades,” his most recent sentencing memo in federal court read, “the courts have extended second chances again and again to this defendant.”
Second chances that would have never, ever been offered to American citizens, especially if they were wearing a red MAGA cap.
“Despite all the defendant’s drug and violent crime convictions,” the feds are belatedly admitting, “courts continuously imposed suspended or partially suspended sentences.”
It’s called professional courtesy, Democrats helping Democrats.
“Each time the defendant swatted those second chances down.”
Because the bad hombre knew he was a member of a protected class, multiple protected classes in fact. He’s an illegal alien. He can – or could – do whatever the hell he pleased, at least until Nov. 5.
He’s still got state time hanging over him. But in December, with Americans about to regain control of America, the savage Third World thug was finally sentenced to 30 months in federal custody.
He even has a Bureau of Prisons number now – 03916-049, although the website oddly says he’s “Not in BOP Custody.”
Joel Gonzalez is a poster boy for the Democrats’ illegal-alien crime wave. What he was finally grabbed for was stealing $68,580.85 from Medicaid and SNAP – food stamps.
His big mistake, I believe, was applying for the welfare in New Hampshire. In Massachusetts, Gov. Maura Healey or Mayor Michelle Wu probably would have assisted the foreign freeloader in filling out his application for still more handouts.
The m.o. with these Dominican thugs is that they steal an American’s identity. In this case, Gonzalez appropriated the identity of “E.C.” from Buffalo, who has been “incarcerated intermittently in New York.”
In other words, E.C. was a jailbird, so Gonzalez figured he could get away with lifting his identity, including his Social Security number, which illegals need, not so much for a job as for welfare. That’s what they’re here for – a free ride, not jobs.
But Gonzalez was working, in a manner of speaking. In 2004, as soon as he arrived, he was convicted of transporting marijuana in a car without a front license plate. In 2006, he was lugged with 10 grams of cocaine and two firearms.
By 2011, he was convicted of possessing heroin – the first of three convictions for either possessing or selling heroin.
“The defendant violated his probation multiple times,” the feds noted, “including for possession of cocaine, fentanyl and marijuana but did not serve any jail time for either the underlying offense or violations.”
As I always say, if I ever get jammed up, I ask for no special treatment. Just treat me like an illegal alien. Just treat me like Joel Gonzalez.
In his 20 years in civilization, Gonzalez did have at least one actual job.
“The defendant was working for a landscaper when he stole a white gold necklace from his supervisor. The supervisor had purchased the necklace for his son’s baptism. The defendant sold the necklace to a pawn shop for money.”
Joel Gonzalez – an illegal alien’s illegal alien.
I’m just surprised that at some point he wasn’t welcomed to the New Hampshire Democrat state committee as a voting member – by acclimation. Part of good Democrat bona fides is… domestic abuse. Paging Doug “Slugger” Emhoff.
“In 2013, the defendant was convicted of four counts of simple assault on his then-girlfriend and received sentences of 9-12 months.
In 2021, the memo continues, “he committed burglary. He broke into a Manchester restaurant through the basement door and was caught before he could escape. Despite his lengthy criminal record, he received yet another suspended sentence….
“Eventually, state probation authorities found that the defendant possessed cocaine, firearms and ammunition in January 2024.”
Post-Trump, the feds belatedly came to their senses.
“Even beyond this extensive criminal record, another aggravating factor is that defendant lied to each and every judge he appeared before – including Judge (Steven) McAuliffe in this very Court – when he claimed to be E.C.”
You know, I could write a column just like this every day, for the rest of my life. Maybe for the rest of eternity, if the Democrats ever get back in.
But for now, let’s close on a happy note. Finally, Joel Gonzalez is locked up, at least for a couple of years, after which he’ll be handed over to state custody, for how long, who knows. Let’s just hope Kelly Ayotte gets reelected as governor.
Adios, Joel Gonzalez. One down, millions more to go.
