Massachusetts Dems quiet to own party’s push for hate

When the phone didn’t ring, I knew it was them – the all-Democrat Massachusetts Congressional delegation.

Over the past two days, I had my radio producer call the offices of both Massachusetts senators – the fake Indian and Mr. Frosty – as well as all 10 of the state’s U.S. House representatives.

The question: Would you like to address the recent inflammatory comments of your extinguished colleague, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-CA, exhorting her deranged constituents to “absolutely harass” federal workers on the payroll of President Donald Trump.

Two – count ‘em, two – of the solons deigned to respond.

Rep. Nikki Tsongas of Lowell: “I’ve always believed that we can have a debate without demonizing those with whom we disagree and am guided, in recent days especially, by Michelle Obama’s words, ‘when they go low, we go high.’”

Rep. Jim McGovern of Worcester: “I agree with Michelle Obama: when they go low, we go high. I don’t believe we should embrace the tactics of Donald Trump. We should combat this administration’s policies with facts.”

Is there an echo in here? Two references to the exact same quote by Obama’s wife – which was likewise trotted out by Oprah’s dear friend Gayle King yesterday morning on See-BS News.

Sounds like someone came up with a talking point for Democrat operatives, although the more appropriate Obama-family comment would seem to be Barry’s from 2008:

“If they bring a knife to a fight, we bring a gun.”

But at least two of the 12 members of the delegation did issue statements, tepid though they were. What’s interesting is that one of the two – Tsongas – is not running for reelection. And the other, McGovern, does not a primary opponent in September, unlike five of the other eight Congressmen.

Needless to say, none of these primary opponents are coming at the incumbents from the right. Gov. Edward J. King is not walking through that door, to paraphrase Rick Pitino. The voters ex-Rep. Vinnie Piro used to call “normal Democrats” are long gone, as is the Somerville one represented by Vinnie. There aren’t any “normal Democrats” left, in Massachusetts or anywhere else for that matter. Around here they’ve been extinct for at least 20 years.

And so these sad-sack solons can’t say anything that might stir up the trust-funders and the non-working classes who have devolved into the brownshirts of their party.

Of course, you wouldn’t expect much else of, say, Rep. Mike Capuano, a thug’s thug from Somerville.

Capuano, you may recall, once harangued a horde of drunken pinky rings: “Every once in a while, you need to get out on the street and get a little bloody when necessary.”

How BLM, how antifa is that? That sort of raw hate speech even puts Slapsie Maxie Waters to shame. But even Capuano is being challenged from the left, by a city councilor from Boston (by way of Chicago) who is now demanding the abolition of ICE, as is at least one of the moonbat Democrat candidates for governor.

This is how unhinged the Massachusetts Democrat party has become. Stan Rosenberg and Jamie Eldridge are centrists. Joe Kennedy, the grandson of RFK, the guy who delivered the (lackluster) response to Trump’s State of the Union address last winter, is being challenged… on the left.

You see, Kennedy is a native of Massachusetts, which is bad enough. (It’s so so much better to be the fake Indian, from Oklahoma, or Katherine Clark, from Colorado, or state Sen. Jason Lewis, from South Africa.)

But in addition to being a native New England, JoJoJo Kennedy is also Irish, a Catholic, heterosexual, married to a member of the opposite sex and has a child. Talk about persona non grata in the modern Democrat party.

Here’s how diversity-celebrating Massachusetts Democrats have become. Their failing agitprop organ known as The Boston Globe now refers to Capuano as “half Irish.” What exactly is that supposed to mean? Is it a slur of some sort? Is “half Irish” the new “mark of the beast,” as in Revelations? What’s worse to Democrats – being half-Irish or half-Italian?

I don’t blame the spineless solons for not criticizing Maxine’s hate speech. If the Democrat incumbents defend the First Amendment rights of Republicans, pretty soon they’re not going to be able to go to a restaurant, they’re not going to be able to stop at a gasoline station, they’re not going to be able to stop at a department store….

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before.
