Let them keep doing what they’re doing
Candidly, if people aren’t outraged by this ongoing extreme left behavior, there’s something wrong.
If you’re anything like most Americans, you’ve likely been shocked watching the ludicrous and un-American behaviors of extreme left wing Democrats that are being reported across the country. This week was no exception, as news broke about Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen going to El Salvador’s notorious Terrorist Confinement Center (CECOT) to visit Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant who is a confirmed MS-13 gang member.
The show that Senator Van Hollen put on, included a photo opp of he and Garcia speaking together at CECOT while sipping coffee and water. The media described Garcia as a Maryland father who was wrongly deported, despite being an illegal alien from El Salvador. What is Van Hollen really trying to prove? Why would a sitting United States Senator travel to CECOT in El Salvador to meet with a known MS-13 gang member who was in our country illegally? It’s mind boggling.
Another one of the extreme stories that went viral this week was Maine Governor Janet Mills holding her ground and continuing her fight to allow biological males to compete in women’s sports. While the vast majority of the country acknowledges this extreme view as borderline insanity, Governor Mills truly wants men to be able to compete against women in Maine. I can tell you one thing for certain. Governor Mills will be unemployed in 2026, if she attempts to run for Governor again. I’m surprised she hasn’t been impeached already.
Another concerning story, courtesy of extreme Democrats, comes out of the State of California. The Department of Homeland Security announced on X that Oscar Eduardo Ortega-Anguiano, an illegal alien from Mexico is being released by the California Department of Corrections after serving three years of a ten-year sentence for gross vehicular manslaughter. He was driving drunk when he crashed and killed two nineteen-year-olds in 2021. The two teens became trapped in their car and were burned alive.
It should be noted that Ortega-Anguiano also had criminal convictions of burglary in 2005, vehicle theft in 2007, and battery on a spouse with kidnapping in 2014. Fortunately, ICE has placed a detainer on him, so when he is released, he will be taken into ICE custody immediately. That’s only if the California Department of Corrections cooperates with ICE and we all know that won’t happen.
Thankfully, United States Attorney for the Central District of California, Bill Essayli, announced that he has filed a felony immigration charge against Ortega-Anguiano that carries a sentence of up to 20 years. We should be grateful to have people in office willing to fight back against the soft on crime policies of Democrats.
When you hear stories like the ones I referenced in this column, it may infuriate you. It may make you question humanity. Candidly, if people aren’t outraged by this ongoing extreme left behavior, there’s something wrong. Rest assured that while these concerning stories will keep coming, there are more great Americans willing to fight and stand up for what is right.
When the Democrats lost the House, Senate and White House, you would have thought they would have recognized that most Americans have zero tolerance for their deranged, radical left views. Instead, they are doubling down and doing everything they can to change America.
As painful as it is to watch, let them keep doing what they are doing. It will ensure they continue to embarrass themselves and prove how truly disconnected they are from the majority of Americans.
