Karen Read prosecution failing again and again

If I ever get caught lying to a grand jury and the cops have me cold, I’m going to use the same alibi Kerry Roberts used in Dedham.

“I misunderstood that question.”

Kerry Roberts likely committed perjury. Period. She admitted it, on the stand.

According to her own testimony, Kerry Roberts swore an oath in 2022 to tell the truth to a state grand jury. Then she started lying.

Excuse me, she started… misunderstanding.

Kerry Roberts told a horrendous lie that got Karen Read indicted for second-degree murder and destroyed her life.

But Wednesday Kerry Roberts admitted that despite what she told a state grand jury, that Read asked Jennifer McCabe to “google hypothermia,” she did not actually hear her say anything like that.

Alan Jackson, the defense attorney, asked the Canton housewife near the end of the morning session about her sworn statement that she had in fact heard Karen Read say that on the morning John O’Keefe’s body was discovered in the snow.

“That was a false statement, wasn’t it?”

“Technically,” said Kerry Roberts, squirming in her Lane Bryant outfit.

“Technically?” Jackson said. “Technically pregnant.”

At that point, Judge Beverly Cannone tried to throw the lying prosecution witness a life jacket, the way she always does for the lying witnesses of her BFF, Norfolk County DA Meatball Morrissey.

After the “technically pregnant” comment by Jackson, the lifelong second-generation hack Cannone decided to take over the rescue effort herself.

“Was that a lie?” the judge asked Roberts. “Did you lie?”

“Not intentionally,” Roberts stammered.

It was another massacre. The Meatball Mafia claims you ain’t seen nothing yet, but this is about as bad a beginning of a trial as you’re ever likely to see from any prosecution, anywhere.

Two witnesses, both totally discredited.

For starters, why did Kerry Roberts begin her morning on “Good Morning America,” a fake-news network show?

“People,” she told some Democrat operative, “are getting harassed for telling the truth.”

That’s what she said, probably around 8 a.m. Within four hours, she was admitting that she wasn’t telling the truth, that she had been committing perjury, over and over and over again.

For the record, millions more TV viewers heard her admit she is a perjurer than heard tell Fake News that she was “telling the truth.”

And Kerry Roberts’ other answers were just disastrous.

Like all the other prosecution witnesses, she has embellished her testimony to try to convict Karen Read. Why didn’t she tell these stories contemporaneously?

“I didn’t want to point fingers.” She said that two or three times.

“I didn’t want to accuse anyone.”

You didn’t want to accuse anyone? I thought you misunderstood the question. Which one is it?

Nothing in the first interviews about taillights, no mentions of “Did I hit him?” But then she put together a timeline – with Jennifer “Toothy” McCabe.

A timeline? So how exactly did you come up with this damning but perjured statement of Karen Read asking Jennifer McCabe to google, “How long to die in cold?”

“I was told she said it.”

She was told? She didn’t tell the grand jury she was told. She said she heard it herself.

She misunderstood the question.

Kerry Roberts is simple. She’s under the influence, as it were, of Jennifer McCabe.

It is so obvious that at the end of her testimony, Judge Cannone thanked “Ms. McCabe” for her testimony.

Talk about a Freudian slip. Kerry Roberts is a puppet of Jen McCabe and even an unspeakably corrupt hack judge can’t pretend otherwise.

The reason the “How long to die in cold?” question is so important is because Jen McCabe googled the same question at 2:27 a.m. on the morning John O’Keefe was murdered and his body left in the snow.

She denies that she googled that at 2:27, but no one believes that. At the first trial, experts said she tried to delete it after it became clear what a smoking gun it was.

So she needed to have a reason for googling the same question four hours later, after the body had been found.

Thus, the breathtaking lie by Kerry Roberts, that Karen Read asked her the question.

On the re-cross, Jackson brought this up, how this particular phrase “How long” came into your perjurious testimony?

Jackson: “What did you mean by ‘how long?’”

Roberts: “I don’t recall.”

Maybe Whitey Bulger’s Mob mouth piece Hank Brennan comes back from this. Hey, the Pats were down 28-3 to Atlanta, right? But so far, Hammered Hank is looking more like a legal version of JaMarcus Russell than Tom Brady.
