Hi guys! By now you’ve probably heard the news. I finally got my selfie with the President.
But before I break down the big night, I wanted to tell you guys about my entire week in PB!
The first night, the Carrs took me out to an awesome dinner at the Seafood Bar at the Breakers. I loved the fish tank/ bar. Howie walked me all around the property and told stories about when his father worked at the Breakers.
Howie and I broadcasted from the Newsmax studios in Boca. Newsmax has a great coffee machine, delicious snacks and even has an awesome glam room.
After a week of hilarious news (including the Virginia Governor almost moonwalking during a press conference), we wrapped up the week of shows.
On Saturday, the Mailroom Manager picked me up and we headed to Mar-a- Lago! Once we were through the Secret Service, we pulled through the property. And guess who were the first people we saw? Ivanka and Jared! I was already starstruck and hadn’t even gotten to my room yet.
Did I say room? I meant my **cabana**!!! It was right on the water and was beautiful.
The property is spectacular. I was on cloud 9 as I snapped pics everywhere I went.
Before long, it was time to start prepping for the big dinner.
Later, we arrived at dinner on the gorgeous patio. (Connie Francis was at the table next to us).
And then, as I was ordering my meatloaf, the President of the United States arrived with the First Lady Melania.
When the President walked by our table, Howie introduced me. I shook his hand and told him to keep up the good work. He later chatted with Bob Maynes from Mathews Brothers and the Mailroom Manager.
I didn’t have a picture at this point, but I didn’t care. Just getting to meet him was a once in a lifetime experience.
I ordered the hot fudge sundae (3 scoops!) and thought the night was winding down.
But little did I know, Howie wasn’t ready to give up! We walked past the President’s table again. This time I had my phone at the ready. I said, “Mr. President, could I get a picture with you?” He was very kind and said, “Of course, make sure it’s a good one!”
And just like that I got the shot! A very special thanks to the President and the Carr family for helping me get my selfie. I’ll never forget it!
