Finally, accountability in the courtroom

This is huge – a lunatic hack state judge is indicted and charged with cutting loose an illegal twice-deported Dominican arrested with drugs after throwing an ICE agent out of her courtroom so that the alien criminal could escape.

For what appears to be the first time, someone in a “sanctuary” jurisdiction has to answer for the coddling of these illegals who are perpetrating a massive tidal wave of crime on the law-abiding taxpaying citizens of the United States.

Finally the halls of justice, some justice that’s not in the halls, but in the courtroom.

District Court Judge Shelley M. Richmond Joseph, $184,694 a year, and a hack court officer, Wesley MacGregor, $85,344 a year, are charged by the feds with “conspiracy to corruptly attempt to obstruct, influence, and impede an official proceeding, by preventing the ICE Officer from taking custody of” the illegal alien charged with drug possession.

This judge, age 52, was appointed in 2017 by the RINO governor, Charlie “Tall Deval” Baker.

She was a former member of the Democrat State Committee. She was a longtime coatholder to such elected Democrat hacks as Sen. Marc Pacheco and attorneys general Luther S. Harshbarger and Tom “Unfortunately” Reilly.

She was a member of the Brookline Commission on the Status of Women.

What could have possibly gone wrong?

With that kind of resume, whoever could have predicted that when she got her first chance to let an illegal alien escape justice, just months after her appointment to the bench, she would a) illegally prevent an officer of the law from coming into her courtroom, b) improperly order the clerk to turn off the tape recording of the proceedings, and c) allow the illegal (who is also believed to have been charged with OUI in Pennsylvania) to flee the court house.

Try not to let this destroy your faith in the Massachusetts judiciary, the state Democrat party or the feckless RINO governor.

I invited the governor to come on my radio show Thursday to discuss the nationwide search that resulted in Judge Joseph’s selection. When the phone didn’t ring, I knew it was Tall Deval.

This all happened in the Newton District Courthouse, and ironically, it wasn’t the first time a hack judge there cut loose an illegal alien. The first time it was Mary Beth Heffernan, a second-generation judicial hack.

Her father, Paul, was pushed onto the bench by gangster Whitey Bulger’s brother, Billy, in order to open his old job as clerk for the third brother Jackie. This of course was before Jackie was sent off to prison for obstruction of justice for lying to a grand jury investigating his serial-killing, cocaine-dealing gangster brother.

Judge Heffernan used to be the secretary of public safety for Gov. Deval Patrick. After Patrick’s lieutenant governor Tim “Crash” Murray wrecked his state car while driving 108 m.p.h. in his pajamas before dawn, Heffernan stonewalled media requests for Crash’s cellphone records.

For her service to the hackerama, she was handed a judgeship. An illegal Dominican gangbanger appeared before her charged with raping a Boston College student he picked as while driving for Uber. Over the vigorous objections of the district attorney, Heffernan cut the illegal’s bail to $2500 and he was released.

The illegal hasn’t been seen since.

Of course the hackerama is up in arms about this indictment of one of their fellow Democrats.

Maura Healey, the attorney general, issued the following statement:

“It is a bedrock principle of our constitutional system that federal prosecutors should not recklessly interfere with the operation of state courts and their administration of justice.”

The problem is, it’s these crackpot state judges who are recklessly interfering with the “administration of justice.” Can anyone seriously argue that in all these courthouses, not just in Newton, illegals are basically allowed to get away with what a taxpaying American citizen would be thrown behind bars for?

Healey continued: “This matter could have been appropriately handled by the Commission on Judicial Conduct and the Trial Court.”

Problem is, their idea of appropriately handling it would have been brooming it. Does anyone who’s been paying attention doubt that?

One last point: Andrew Leilling, the US attorney in Boston, is a keeper. The job was supposed to go to a moonbat named William Weinreb – a guy from, of all places, Newton, who gave $5000 to Barack Obama, the fake Indian and Hillary Clinton. Despite that rancid record, after Trump’s election Weinreb still thought he had the job in the bag, because he went to Harvard Law with Rod Rosenstein.

Do you think Weinreb of Newton would have brought this case against Judge Richmond of Newton?

Elections do indeed have consequences, as Judge Richmond has now discovered.
