Disregarding Trump’s accomplishments is un-American
The next time you are dealing with someone who despises Trump, ask for their opinion on these issues and try to have a rational discussion.
Ever since Donald Trump began his second term as President of the United States, there has been a constant barrage of activity. The pace at which the Trump administration works is something that leaves most people in awe. I’m not quite sure how he gets the energy he has, but I am thankful we have a president working so hard for us every day.
Unfortunately for President Trump, he inherited a really horrible situation. America was under a mass invasion of illegal immigrants, many of whom were coming here to wreak havoc and commit horrific crimes. At the same time, we were experiencing pulverizing inflation that was decimating the economy and the livelihoods of many Americans. Outside of our borders, the world was in complete chaos. Wars broke out, humanitarian crises were rampant and hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in these senseless conflicts.
Trump did not waste any time and started attacking the problems facing America and the world head on. His accomplishments during his first few months of office have been nothing short of astounding. Yet there’s one interesting thing I have noticed. Aside from Trump loyalists, nobody is praising Trump for the progress he has made on so many critical issues.
I’ve come to the realization that there are so many people who despise President Trump, that it doesn’t matter what he does. They hate him so much that his accomplishments are meaningless. That is a very unfortunate reality and in my humble opinion, it’s unAmerican.
I have a lot of debates and discussions with liberal people I know. Many of them suffer from Trump derangement syndrome and the hatred they have towards Trump causes them to be unable to think rationally about what he has accomplished and what it means to America. They refuse to recognize the work he has done and no matter what Trump does, they will view it negatively.
Whenever I have these debates, I always focus on three key areas to try and get people to at least acknowledge that these accomplishments are great for America. Believe it or not, I can often get Democrats to partially agree with me. The next time you are dealing with someone who despises Trump, ask for their opinion on these issues and try to have a rational discussion.
Illegal immigration
Joe Biden allowed millions of undocumented illegal immigrants to invade our country. That is a fact. The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) estimated the net cost of illegal immigration to be $150.7 billion in 2023. Illegal immigrants took resources away from American citizens and in many cases, illegal immigrants were treated better than Americans in need. The crimes many of these immigrants committed is even more of a concern. We’ve all heard the stories of the barbaric murders and rapes that would have never happened, if it weren’t for Joe Biden and his open border. Trump has closed the border and the days of millions of undocumented immigrants invading our country are over. How can any level headed American not acknowledge and praise this accomplishment?
Fair trade deals
Trump is laser focused on putting America first and renegotiating unfair trade deals with a long list of countries. Trump wants companies to come to America and make their products here. Instead of communities being decimated due to manufacturing being sent overseas, Trump wants to bring it back. Thanks to Trump’s efforts, companies like IBM, Apple and Hyundai have committed hundreds of billions of dollars in investments in US manufacturing and the list keeps growing. We have never had a President so savvy with business deals and every American should be thankful for what Trump is doing to bring jobs and wealth back to America.
Release of hostages
Trump has masterfully negotiated the release of numerous hostages being held throughout the world. On his first day of office, Trump was able to get two Americans held captive by the Taliban released. Trump has also been instrumental in the release of hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. If you want to see true appreciation for Trump, just listen to what those hostages say when they speak publicly about their ordeal.
Regardless of your political beliefs, every American should be rooting for the President of the United States to be successful. We all have a right to dislike anyone we want. But that does not mean that you should be tearing someone apart for everything they do, especially when the work being done is best for America.
