Democrats’ state-run media ratings are crashing

Their ratings and circulations have cratered since Nov. 5, and now it appears that much of state-run media circling the toilet bowl.

It turns out that lying 24/7 was not a good business model long term. Who knew?

In recent years, the Democrats’ assorted religious outlets and tracts have developed a language, or at least a dialect all their own. The faithful, the credulous understand the cult’s mumbo-jumbo.

For instance, in a crime story, when the word “Man” is used in a headline, as in “Man Arrested in Horrific Rape,” the discerning reader understands the PC shorthand.

“Man” is in fact “Illegal Alien.” Although in Newspeak, those two perfectly accurate words – “Illegal Alien” are verboten.

As forbidden, in fact, as mentioning a “far-left” Democrat, even though most of them are, far left that is. And all Republicans must be described “far-right.” By any real definition, today’s far-right Republican would more likely be referred to as a “JFK Democrat.”

With any luck, this Democrat terminology will soon wither away, just like their execrable media. I hope their diabolical dialect goes as extinct as Old Church Slavonian or Punic.

But for historical purposes, let’s put some of their nonsense on the record before the venal vernacular fades into oblivion.

Whenever Democrats or their Alibi Ikes in the media say something is 1) a baseless claim, 2) has been debunked or 3) is without evidence, it can only mean one thing: It is 100 percent true.

If Democrats claim a statement is “lacking context,” that means, okay, you’ve got the video, we’re busted, we did it. But since it doesn’t advance The Party narrative, just… ignore it.

(As an example, see the recent sniveling apologies by Democrats after denouncing the impending roundups of their beloved illegal alien fentanyl dealers. Every last one of them has now recanted and muttered, off-mike, “Never mind, Mr. Homan!”)

Whenever they say “Defend democracy,” they mean “Defend bureaucracy.”

A “predatory lender” is anyone who expects his loan to be repaid, even by a Democrat.

“Redlining” means declining to lend money to people, usually Democrats, who will never repay.

An issue becomes “controversial” only when Democrats are on the wrong side of it. A synonym is “wedge issue,” which means it’s a plus for the American candidate in the race.

If the polling is really bad, the situation may be described as “an existential crisis.”

A “Russian asset” is a politician who does not cheerlead for endless wars to enrich the military-industrial complex and our corrupt proxy oligarchs. Accusations that someone is a Russian asset are usually made by corrupt politicians who are themselves Russian assets. Paging Hillary Clinton….

Climate anxiety was once known by another name – mental illness.

“Gender affirmation” used to be called “genital mutilation,” or just plain child abuse.

Sustainable energy isn’t.

DEI isn’t.

In a political corruption story, if it’s a Republican, party affiliation must be mentioned in the headline. If a Democrat is lugged, party affiliation cannot be brought up, period, unless maybe if it’s an apostate Democrat like Eric Adams and Bob Menendez.

When a Democrat is in office, state-run media lie about how wonderful the economy is. On Jan. 20, they’ll begin lying about how bad it is. These are the rules.

Whenever you see a headline that says “experts say,” it really means is, “Paid Democrat operatives lie.” (Sen. Joe Manchin made this very point last week. No wonder he’s no longer a Democrat.)

“Count all the votes” means “fake all the ballots.”

“Rank-choice voting” means “Keep counting ‘til the Democrat wins.”

“Mostly peaceful protests” – Democrat riots involving arson, looting and murders of cops.

“Insurrection” – trespassing by unarmed Republicans who are then gunned down by Democrat thugs with badges.

“Follow the science” means “Do what we bureaucrats tell you to do, no matter how insane.”

Settled science, ditto. It’s just something they  made up yesterday, to advance the Narrative.

So-called misinformation or disinformation is “truth that is inconvenient to the Deep State.”

“Trans woman” is a man, and “trans man” is a woman.

A “justice-involved person” used to be known as an ex-con, or more colloquially, a jailbird. Think Mr. Ayanna Pressley.

“Disparate impact” means a fair outcome that does not benefit any protected classes, often either criminal or unqualified or both.

When state-run media say inflation is “transitory,” it’s not.

When the Pulitzer Prize winners say Joe Biden is “sharp as a tack,” he’s not.

“Bipartisan” means a Democrat bill with one Republican supporting it, usually Lisa Murkowski or Susan Collins.

Those described as “working families” are invariably non-working non-families.

For the children means for the teachers’ unions.

If someone opposes Donald Trump, no matter how horrible he is, he is perforce Good People. Remember the genocidal Muslim terrorist al-Baghdadi? Trump killed him and the Washington Post instantly eulogized the savage as “austere religious scholar.”

Here are some synonyms for welfare: earned income and child-care tax credits, investments in the future, public-private partnerships, reparations, green-energy subsidies….

“Defending democracy”: using Third World police state tactics to destroy your political opponents for non-crimes.

Unjust political retribution: Republicans “defending democracy” in the same way Democrats have been doing to them for the last decade.

It wasn’t so long ago that stories about fatal auto crashes were often blamed on SUVs. You know, like “SUV crashes into Waukesha Christmas parade.” Nothing about the racist thug driving it, it was the SUV that killed all the Christian Americans.

There was an entire SUV crime wave, remember? And the most blameless of all vehicles were Teslas. Owning a Tesla was the ultimate virtue signaling, a modern version of a medieval “indulgence” – buying your way into PC Heaven.

But then the founder of Tesla, Elon Musk, switched over to the dark side. He now practically lives at Mar-a-Lago. He makes jokes about MSNBC – that’s blasphemy!

Ergo, Teslas are now a greater threat to bureaucracy, er democracy, than even SUV’s.

Do you doubt me? On Thanksgiving Eve, a local college cop, the father of four, was killed by a wrong-way driver – “a man” — as he drove home. Terrible.

This was the headline in the Boston Globe:

“Endicott College police sergeant killed in Newbury wrong-way crash involving Tesla.”

In other words, the Tesla did it. Elon Musk did it!

The Globe eventually changed the headline, just like the Washington Post did with the austere religious scholar. But by their first headline, ye shall know them.

This is who they are. I hope that soon we’ll be able to say that this is who they were. Bankruptcy can’t come soon enough for these smug, pampered pukes. They tried to destroy us, and now we’re just… defending democracy.
