Just when you thought Fauci’s week couldn’t get any worse…

It does!

Fox News’ David Marcus writes: Dr. Anthony Fauci refused to answer questions on Capitol Hill Wednesday, but the humiliating release of his secret COVID-era diary just days before had already provided all the answers we needed about his demented ego and matchless mendacity.

Fauci short-circuited fireworks at the Senate Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee hearing, run by his arch nemesis, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., by pleading the Fifth Amendment 111 times, even though he has a full pardon from the autopen of former President Joe Biden. But we had already heard plenty from him, thanks to the diary that was discovered on Fauci’s government computer.

But just because Fauci was pleading the Fifth, doesn’t mean the Republicans didn’t get to have some fun.

I thought Senator Josh Hawley had the most impactful performance.
