Fauci gets the call, under oath

If Fauci did such a marvelous job managing the Red Chinese virus, why did he have to beg President Autopen for a pardon in the hours before Trump returned to office in January 2021?

Fauci lied, and people died. Lots and lots of them.

And now how long until Holy Cross has to rename its Anthony S. Fauci Integrated Science Complex?

I understand, he’s now the Crusaders’ most famous alumnus. He’s even better known than Bob Cousy, even though Fauci’s a half-foot shorter – 67 inches high.

But famous is no longer the right word to describe Fauci, Class of ’62. Infamous would be more like it.

Most likely the Jesuits aren’t quite ready to chisel the lying dwarf’s name off their $60-million edifice, the way other colleges have done with the Sacklers’ name, or the City of Boston so unjustly did by renaming Yawkey Way.

So as an interim solution to the embarrassment, maybe Holy Cross could just add an extra word to the buildings’ name.

The Anthony S. Fauci Integrated Science FICTION Complex.

Think about all his lying today as Fauci appears before Congress – under oath.

In January 2020, he knew for a fact that the virus came out of a Red Chinese lab, actually put it down in writing.

But he lied about the genesis of the Panic for more than two years. He also knew that for the vast majority of the population, COVID 19 was nothing more than a bad strain of influenza.

But he went on TV and said it was ten times more deadly than he admitted to his diary that it was.

Among other things, he claimed masks were not necessary. Then he said wearing one was vital to staying alive. Then he said two masks were even better than one.

In October 2020 he suggested cancelling all Thanksgiving dinners because of the extreme peril. Then he went to dinner – a second dinner – with the Democrats’ biggest fake-news fluffer, Jake Tapper.

If Fauci did such a marvelous job managing the Red Chinese virus, why did he have to beg President Autopen for a pardon in the hours before Trump returned to office in January 2021?

What exactly was he worried about being prosecuted for?

Of course even if – or should I say when? – Fauci lies under oath this morning, nothing will happen to him. He’s a Democrat. And he accomplished his sinister task – Trump was ousted from office, Biden got in, and look how the Democrats wrecked the country for four years.

For that alone Fauci should go to prison for the rest of his life.

It’s amazing that he was memorializing all his preposterous accolades in his Dear Diary. Sometimes diaries can be entertaining reading – Andy Warhol’s are one example. But Warhol was mainly writing about people he encountered, and his observations and reactions to them.

Not Fauci. Everything in his diary is all about him. He is, after all, The Science.

Fauci clearly wanted to be, as was once said of Teddy Roosevelt, “the corpse at every funeral, the bride at every wedding and the baby at every christening.”

Sen. Rand Paul last weekend released 1141 pages of Fauci’s Dear Diary. The entries date as far back as 2001. He’s apparently always been a legend in his own mind, but it got worse once the Red Chinese unleashed the virus on the world.

But Fauci had to pretend the Red Chinese didn’t do it. It came out of a “wet market.” That was his story and he was sticking to it. Why?

Alex Berenson, the former New York Times reporter who was cancelled back in 2020 for telling the truth, was on Fox yesterday. He spelled it out, again, for everybody who’s been trying to memory-hole those dreadful years.

“Fauci knew he had been funding the Wuhan lab, indirectly through a guy named Peter Daszak, and he knew what it would look like if the virus had come from research he had funded…. He knew he had to do everything to hide that and steer people away. It’s really on him.”

Fauci is like one of those volunteer firefighters who becomes an arsonist, and then is the first one to show up to put his own fires out, so he can be the hero (and maybe get a job out of it).

Fauci started the fire, and then he wanted a ticker tape parade for putting it out. Except he didn’t put it out. He made it worse, much worse.

Vaccine mandates. Red Chinese-style social media censorship. Business shutdowns. No sports. Social distancing. And of course, school closures.

And then, as Fauci’s fraud started coming apart, he tried to rewrite history. He’d bragged in his diary about how he’d convinced the gutless politicians to shut down schools. By 2023, he was saying he’d never recommended shutting down anything.

But it’s right there, in black and white.

Did Fauci never hear the old adage?

“Never write when you can speak, never speak when you can nod, never nod when you can wink.”

Of course regime-controlled media are giving this latest Biden-era scandal a good leaving-alone. It’s just too embarrassing for all the usual suspects – the front runners, the bum kissers, the amen chorus of the ruling class.

The Democrat operatives with press passes who worshipped Fauci are the same fluffers who pushed the Russian collusion hoax, Hunter-Biden’s-laptop-is-Russian-disinformation, Joe Biden-is-sharp-as-a-tack, the good-people-on-both-sides etc.

It’s the same old Ministry of Truth. They reverently award themselves Pulitzer Prizes and then when the truth about their agitprop comes out, they not only pretend they didn’t make it all up, but that they don’t even know what you’re talking about when you call them out on their latest Big Lie.

The craziest thing of all is, Fauci apparently believed his own press clippings. He thought Jake Tapper and George Stephanopoulos were on the level.

And now Fauci’s hagiographers are repeating the same old Hillary Clinton line they always use at moments like this: “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

It matters a lot, if you lost your job, or had a loved one die in isolation, or your kid’s childhood was warped….

When it comes down to Rand Paul vs. Anthony Fauci today, I guess you know whose side I’m on.
