Dems Try to Pressure Platner…But Will It Work? 7.8.26

The hits keep on coming for Graham Platner (see my post from yesterday) but the Maine Senate Candidate is not throwing in the towel… at least not yet.

Despite canceling several events, reports are that Platner’s camp isn’t convinced he should bow out.

The NY Post reported:

A source familiar with the campaign discussions said Platner, his campaign and political strategist Morris Katz are deliberating about the Maine Democrat dropping out but only if his replacement shares his left-wing values.

Now the pressure campaign against Porta Potty Platner is heating up.

The Executive Director of the Maine Democratic Party is voicing her frustration against GP.

But is this the best strategy? He doesn’t seem like a guy that takes no for an answer.

Plus… he has all the leverage.

This is all giving flashbacks to the Biden switch after the disastrous 2024 debate.

Suddenly all of the Democrats who claimed the decision was up to Mainers are now willing to subvert the will of the people for political convenience.

So what happens next?
