A YEAR IN FAKE NEWS

Honest journalism is so yesterday.

If you’ve grown weary of reading the endless slobbering woke headlines churned out by the most liberal of rags, you aren’t alone. Taking one for the team, I looked back over 2022. I have compiled some of the most insufferable puff pieces, highlighted the hyper-Trump-targeted articles, and pointed out which propaganda was just plain false.

While the torrent of Democrat drivel may seem overwhelming, try to look on the bright side. Because it always can—and likely will—get much worse in 2023.

THESE PIECES COULD’VE DONE WITHOUT SUCH PUFF

Nothing will top the Fake News’ sycophantic fawning over what is, at best, mediocrity and, at worst, devious corruption. The comrades worked hard this year at the difficult task of making limousine liberals, incompetent idiots and dishonest doctors look good.

FASHION IS DEAD, AND THE DEMOCRATS KILLED IT

Whether they’re talking war-hero Zelenskyy’s vomit-green-colored sweatshirt, always-victorious Brandon’s sunglasses, or the folkloric John Fetterman’s size-small shorts, the Enemy of the People wants you to know that their emperors indeed have clothes, all of which are rather “stylish!”

NO, BUT SERIOUSLY, THIS TIME, TRUMP IS TOAST

Of course it wouldn’t be a post-presidency year for Donald J. Trump without its share of witch hunts old and new, primetime kangaroo court hearings, and calls to release his tax returns. In 2022 there was a new twist: the Trump family’s Florida mansion raided by the FBI, a new installment in the Democrat endless jihad that, like everything else since 2015, came up short. But don’t worry, they’ll definitely get him next year. Pinky promise!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST, SOME STORIES TURNED OUT TO BE JUST PLAIN FALSE

The fact checkers are too busy flagging your Facebook posts to conduct even the most basic reality checks on the nonsense spewed by Very Fake News. We may never know the truth of much of what state-run media parroted for their fellow travelers in the Democrat party this year. But as 2022 ends, one thing is certain: we’ll never know what really happened early one Friday morning in October at the Pelosi mansion in San Francisco.
