There was an ICE-involved shooting in Biddeford, Maine this morning. Though we know very few details about the shooting, left-wing activists have taken to the streets–and to Senator Susan Collin’s office– to protest ICE.
The Guardian reported:
A person was killed on Monday in a shooting involving US immigration officials in Maine, according to a statement attributed to a prominent state lawmaker, days after a man was killed by an immigration officer during a traffic stop in Texas.
Local immigrants rights groups said the victim was a 26-year-old Colombian man.
The Maine Wire was on the scene as this rally quickly assembled.
