Meet Keoma Duarte, age 41, accused of vehicular homicide of a local cop while driving drunk.
He is invariably described in news stories as a “Massachusetts man” or “of New Bedford.”
Would you care to guess where “Massachusetts man” was born?
In sub-Saharan Africa, in the Cape Verde islands, to be specific. That fact is included in some of the earlier, multiple police reports about him, but not in the most recent ones, where he’s charged with his more atrocious crimes.
Why is his African birthplace now omitted? It’s a mystery, all right.
There’s another standard line on police-incident reports listing the perp’s “Employer/School.” Like place of birth, that line never seems to be filled out for Keoma Duarte.
This tragedy involves another law-abiding American-born taxpayer dead because of the gross irresponsibility of a Third World grifter, who in the past has been known to describe himself as a victim of, you guessed it, racism.
According to police reports, this is what the Cape Verdean immigrant did late on the evening of Nov. 27, 2024.
He was at the New Hampshire state liquor store on I-95 north in Hampton. When he left, Duarte got back on the northbound lane, heading south. He drove in the wrong direction for 13 miles, back into Massachusetts, in both the high-speed lane “and partially in the high-speed breakdown lane.”
Driving north was Jeremy Cole, age 49, a sergeant in the Endicott College police department, with a wife and four children. He was in his Chevy Trailblazer, headed home from work, to use an English word apparently unfamiliar to the African immigrant.
Duarte slammed his Tesla head-on into the American law-enforcement officer, killing him instantly.
As for the newcomer to our land, according to the New Hampshire State Police report:
“DUARTE was disoriented, could not respond to basic questions… slurred speech, consistent with impairment… the odor of alcoholic beverages….”
In the immigrant’s car, the trooper “noted several empty ‘nip’ bottles of alcohol within the passenger compartment of the Tesla, as well as marijuana.”
Of course, Keoma Duarte denied everything. That’s the first thing this type learns when they first flop here. Well, actually the second, the first being to accuse everybody else of racism.
There were seven empty nip bottles – vodka. Duarte’s lucky he wasn’t charged with impersonating a Massachusetts state rep. His BAC level was recorded as .119 – higher even than a Massachusetts state trooper’s!
“Up to the point where he was eventually taken to the hospital,” the prosecutor said, “he continued to deny to police he had been in an accident, even though his car was crushed and he had in essence crushed Sgt. Cole.”
Somehow, though, he was cut loose. They always are by Democrats – professional courtesy.
Six months later, last May, Duarte was lugged again, in New Bedford, by the Mass State Police, on a fugitive-from-justice court warrant. The arrest was made by the Violent Fugitive Apprehension Squad.
Key word: Violent.
On his booking sheet, Duarte was listed as single, with two dependents. Stop me if you’ve heard this one before.
“Occupation: UNEMPLOYED.”
Keoma Duarte appears unfamiliar with our motor-vehicle laws here in the First World. In 2013, he was arrested in New Bedford for operating a motor vehicle (a Mercedes Benz) with a suspended/revoked license.
The cop handcuffed him, after which the future cop-killer pulled the card he never leaves home without.

“While in booking,” Officer James E. Ryan #4003 noted, “Mr. Duarte started to become agitated and made statements to me that the only reason I had pulled him over was because he was a black man driving a ‘Benz.’ He stated that it had nothing to do with the fact that his license was revoked.”
Such terrible deprivations the newcomers to our land must endure while guzzling nips, smoking weed and driving the wrong way on our interstate highways. You’d think at least a few of them would eventually return to the Dark Continent.
Cape Verde is the same tropical paradise that gave us Tania Fernandes Anderson, the first illegal alien Muslim from Africa on welfare who was ever elected to the Boston City Council.
Anderson finished up her stretch in federal prison for accepting $7,000 in bribes last November. Her first-degree murderer husband is about to be paroled from his “life without parole” sentence.
Again, Democrat professional courtesy.
Getting back to Tania’s soul brother Keoma Duarte, in 2023 he was again involved in a motor-vehicle accident, this time leaving the scene of property damage. He was driving a Tesla, the same type of car with which he killed Sgt. Cole.
At 12:51 a.m., according to a New Bedford police report, Keoma’s Tesla struck a parked vehicle owned by an American.
“KEOMA stated that he fell asleep because he was tired from working all day.”
Working? Oddly, despite that vague mention of a job, the report once again left his “Employer/School” line blank. While the police were investigating the crash later, a mysterious black male appeared.
“This male appeared to be highly intoxicated. He had a strong odor of intoxicating liquor emanating from his body, his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, his speech was slightly slurred, and he was talking in circles being extremely confrontational.”
He refused to identify himself. The cop noted that he was tall. Keoma is listed in various police reports as 6-4. Later the cops guessed that this intoxicated gentleman might have been not Keoma, but a different Cape Verdean.
Perhaps he was visiting from Brockton?
George Bush used to say that these hordes of foreigners from the Third World are just coming here to do the jobs Americans no longer want to do.
Sometimes, though, they’re coming here to drive drunk 13 miles the wrong way down an interstate highway through two states before killing an American father of four on his way home from his night-shift job as a cop.
They’re not sending us their best.
