The Democrats have a lot of double standards. In fact, one of the Captain’s favorite expressions regarding the moon bats on the left side of the aisle is, “If it weren’t for double standards, the Democrats would have no standards at all.”

But this morning while watching Joe Scarborough– Wait, let me rephrase that. This morning while watching a clip online of Joe Scarborough, (can’t have you thinking I’m an actual viewer of Morning Joe), I couldn’t help but think of one double standard that really grinds my gears.

So here it is…

Attacking women for their looks or weight is off limits unless (and only unless) said women are politically conservative.

When liberal women are even remotely criticized or made sport of, you better call Maura Healey. We need the hate
crime police STAT. (And maybe some therapy dogs depending on the severity of the insults).

A few examples?

Remember when Bill O’Reilly made the mistake of saying that Maxine Waters looked like she was wearing a “James Brown wig.”

In this combination photo, Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., left, appears at the Justice on Trial Film Festival on Oct. 20, 2013, in Los Angeles and Fox News personality Bill O’Reilly appears on the set of his show, “The O’Reilly Factor,” on Oct. 1, 2015 in New York. O’Reilly said Tuesday, March 28, 2017, he had a hard time concentrating on Waters during a speech because he was distracted by her “James Brown wig.” He made the comment during an appearance on “Fox & Friends,” after a clip was shown of Waters speaking in the House of Representatives. The response from the mainstream media? A unanimous HOW DARE HE! To mock a woman (not to mention an African American woman) for her physical appearance, barbaric. Disregard the fact that it is definitely an uncanny resemblance between the two hairdos.

That isn’t the point. The point is that it was MEAN, CRUEL and UNACCEPTABLE.

And then there is the example of Madame President Hillary Clinton.

If you even dare to point out that she has a history of health problems, a closet full of bad pants suits and a marriage soaked in lies and scandal, you are a sexist.

You are intimidated by a strong, smart, capable woman. You do not support the female gender to quote Madeleine Albright, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help each other!”

But when it comes to being critical of women, by far the most egregious sin you can commit is by saying anything negative about Michelle Obama.

To mock Michelle is to mock their patron saint of toned arms, “healthy” school lunches, and glamorous down-to-earth fashion.

If you dare make a comment about her clothes, her failed initiatives or her overbearing agenda you are nothing but a jealous racist.

But then there is the huge, gaping hole of an exception to that rule. Here are the ladies I like to call, the Fair Game Girls.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders

One of the most resilient, well-spoken people in the Trump administration, Sarah puts up with a relentless barrage of stupidity from the press corps. Her job is thankless and tiring. And despite all the fake news she never fails to come out looking better than the Jim Acostas of the world.

Let’s see how the left applauds this strong woman:

There was David Horsey’s less than kind words about her in the Los Angeles times (that he later retracted.)

“…Sanders looks more like a slightly chunky soccer mom who organizes snacks for the kids’ games,” Horsey states, after describing the physical features of daughter Ivanka Trump and first lady Melania Trump. “Rather than the fake eyelashes and formal dresses she puts on for news briefings, Sanders seems as if she’d be more comfortable in sweats and running shoes.”

And of course there was the SNL portrayal of Sanders in which she informs the press that her father is Mike Huckabee and her mother is a “big southern hamburger.”

Not very nice? Not a problem- she is a Republican.

And then there is Kellyanne Conway.

Even if Hillary thumped her head on the glass ceiling and fell back down into a bucket of chardonnay, there is one woman who shattered it anyway. And that woman is Kellyanne Conway.

She was the first woman to ever run a successful Presidential campaign. She was, in my opinion, the most loyal member of Trump’s inner circle due to her unwavering loyalty to the President. She has an unmatched ability to shut down the likes of Jake Tapper and Rachel Maddow. During the election, she would not only go on CNN and MSNBC, she’d serve them their lunch while she was there.

But Kellyanne is mocked as strange and stiff. She isn’t celebrated for her status as a leader in the political world. Instead her sanity is questioned. In the world of the liberals, a woman can’t just be a Trump supporter because of her political ideals. She is a Trump supporter because she is brainwashed, uninformed and deranged. Joe Scarborough black balled her from his show while his girlfriend Mika sneers in disgust at just the mention of her name.

Women supporting women. Ain’t it grand?

SNL did a very interesting depiction of Kellyanne as a psychotic clown after the movie IT was released. So if you don’t think I’m giving an accurate depiction of how the left treats Conway, see for yourself.

And of course there is Melania.

Trump wore a steady wardrobe of mostly black during President Donald Trump’s overseas tour, including a prim black lace dress with a matching mantilla headcover that she wore to meet Pope Francis and a dark jacket with golden detailing on the cuff and collar that she wore for her arrival in Italy, both by Milan designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. You’d think she’d be hoisted up on a New York Times covered pedastool. She is a bilingual immigrant who managed to become one of the most powerful woman in the world. And yet, they hate her. They hate her heels, her accent, even her Christmas decorations.

Listen up conservative women out there. We can’t win this one. Why? Because you can’t beat crazy. And the cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome are multiplying and worsening at such a fast rate that it isn’t worth trying to cure with reason and logic.

So just remember–Democratic women are off limits. No jokes, no criticisms, and definitely no SNL parodies.

Don’t make the mistake of dishing out what you’re getting. Because the insults they hurl at us are “funny.” They will be labeled courageous and cutting edge. As for us? Our labels will read racist, sexist and bully.

And that is one of many exceptions to the rules that all Dems follow blindly.
