Signs of a Truce? Latest in Musk-Trump Implosion – 6.6.25
If you weren’t on X yesterday you might have missed… a lot.
But to sum it up– President Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s relationship when up in flames over the Big Beautiful Bill.
Trump had been posting on Truth Social about Elon’s criticisms of the bill.

Elon was “wearing thin,” I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted (that he knew for months I was going to do!), and he just went CRAZY!
Welp, that post didn’t go over well at Musk HQ. The Tesla CEO fired back with this post:
For the rest of the night, social media was on fire with both conservatives and liberals wondering how this divorce would play out.
There was plenty of serious concern over the demise of what was once a very strong partnership. Conservatives pointed out that the public meltdown was going to give the Democrat party a chance to chip away at the MAGA momentum and take control of the narrative.
There were also plenty of jokes and memes making the rounds.
But Billionaire Bill Ackman’s post (or rather Musk’s reply to it) seems to show signs that perhaps all is not lost after all.
Who would have thought that all of this drama would unfold over the Big Beautiful Bill?
Maybe this is the end of the Musk-Trump days. But maybe not.
