Trump will be President, but Maura Healey will still be Governor

I cannot be more excited about President Trump going back to the White House! I have every confidence that he will lower inflation, close the borders, cut taxes, reduce spending and make the USA a world leader once again.

Things are looking good for 2025 on the federal level.

However, I could not be more concerned about living in the People’s Republic of Massachusetts in the next year.

Gov. Maura Healey is putting drunken sailors to shame with the way she is spending our tax dollars. Last month, Healey signed a $4-billion “Climate Change Tech” bill into law because she wants to be the biggest activist governor on the issue.

This handout bill will stimulate nonprofits to hire more former state hacks and help companies like Avangrid do additional damage to our coastline.

Of course, the amount the state is spending to house illegals continues to grow exponentially. With Healey refusing to cooperate with the incoming Trump administration on deportation, Massachusetts is now a magnet state on steroids.

Where else would they go? Even New York City Mayor Eric Adams is open to sending them back to the Third World.

While Healey is claiming to implement a six-month crackdown on hotel stays, she is moving the illegals into the Home Base Program in which landlords are guaranteed at least two years of rent and awarded signing bonuses starting at $4000 per unit.

We are talking about billions of dollars!

Then there is the still-unexplained surge in the number of EBT cards. According to records obtained by Sen.-elect Kelly Dooner, the Commonwealth has added 700,000 people to the EBT roles.

That number cannot be accounted for by adding in the illegals.  It is too big. So it appears the Healey administration is passing them out like candy, which could be costing us as much as $350 million.

Our state is required to have a balanced budget.  Hence, there are two possibilities that are likely to happen.

The Governor could cut local aid. That means every community will be shortchanged funding for schools, fire, police, and roads. The municipalities will then come after property owners for higher real-estate taxes. (Look at the outrageous hikes Boston Mayor Michelle Wu just unsuccessfully tried to ram through – making up numbers out of thin air, lying to the legislature.)

Like every good Democrat governor, Healey will also raise taxes. I predict one of them will be a carbon tax so Healey can claim to be the first governor to curtail blah-blah-blah by taxing us for using cars, heating our homes, breathing etc.

Of course she will say the money is needed to improve public transportation so we can reduce our carbon footprint.

2025 is going to be another year of paying for illegals, wasting money on the climate change cult and higher taxes across the board.

But then 2026 will be on the horizon and we can rid the Commonwealth of Maura Healey.
