Suffolk DA race goes from bad to worse

Disgraced Rachael Rollins is running for her old job as Suffolk County district attorney for 119,153 reasons.

And all of them have George Washington’s picture on them.

It’s as simple as that. Her phony-baloney job at Roxbury Community College pays $104,153 a year, according to the state comptroller.

Kevin Hayden, the current prosecutor who holds the job she now regrets ever leaving, makes $223,442 a year. Behind which comes the pension.

And don’t forget, for kiss-in-the-mail purposes he’s Group 4, which makes him cop-eligible for the full, early cash out.

It’s all about the Benjamins, like the ones ex-Sen. Dianne Wilkerson stuffed in her bra on the FBI videotape all those years ago.

By the way, Dianne is scheduled to be one of the “featured speakers” May 2 for something called TEDx Roxbury. The event will take place at, where else, Roxbury Community College.

If you’re indicted, you’re invited!

Hayden must be considered the favorite for reelection, I suppose, even though he only has less than $30,000 in his campaign account.

Between incumbency, and the dreadful alternatives, he should be a shoo in. He could make the same campaign pitch as Louis XIV – “After me, the deluge.”

But then Hayden had to go out and indict a Boston cop for shooting a career criminal, a gangbanger.

I mean, nobody’s got any problems with Hayden going after, say, connected MSP Sgt. Scott Quigley, who recorded a .114 BAC level when he ran head-on into a van and killed a disabled man. And then the State Police and the Middlesex County DA’s office tried to cover up that atrocious crime up for more than two years.

There won’t be any demonstrations outside the courthouse when Quigley goes before a judge in Woburn next week.

But this Boston case – it’s made worse by the fact that the accused cop is named O’Malley, which believe it or not, now puts a major target on your back in Boston.

What about all the cops that aren’t getting prosecuted in uber-woke Boston? The ones who are allowed to… resign. How about the ones who shot through closed doors in Dorchester – Channel 4 broke that story last week, with zero follow up from regime-controlled media?

And what’s up with the recent stabbing of cops in a Southie barroom that get totally swept under the rug?

But Nick O’Malley gets charged, with maximum headlines, without it even going to a grand jury first.

I think what’s happened is, Kevin Hayden is still waging his last campaign. In 2022, he was running against one of Rachael Rollins’ shady acolytes, City Councilor Ricky Ricardo Arroyo.

The biggest issue against Hayden was that he hadn’t been tough enough on some cop. I can’t even remember the details of the case, but it wasn’t much.

In the old days in the South, Democrat candidates competed to be the most oppressive to black people. The only change in the Democrat playbook is who they’re persecuting – now it’s cops, ICE or otherwise.

If you carry a badge and enforce the law, the Democrats want to reform you with a rope. Some things never change with them.

Hayden’s political instincts are shaky. He weeps in public. And now he’s screwed up big time by going after O’Malley. There are still a few Americans – very few – left in Suffolk County. Maybe 50 precincts in Boston, plus Winthrop and isolated pockets of normalcy in Revere. Forget Chelsea, obviously.

But there should be enough for an incumbent to get reelected. Now, though, Hayden has pissed off the cops, and law-abiding citizens in general, as outnumbered as they may be now in the county.

Can Rachael recreate her old coalition – the suburban Ladies Who Lunch? Those guilt-ridden, post-menopausal white limousine liberals like Nancy Gertner and the fake Indian, the trust-funded broads who made “Racial” both the Boston Globe’s Bostonian the Year as well as one of Boston Magazine’s “100 Most Influential Bostonians.”

“Could her next stop be statewide office?” Boston Magazine gushed in 2022. “Only time will tell.”

When the Boston media fluffers slobber over a DEI type that way, the celeb of color’s next career move is usually a target letter from the grand jury. Just ask her fellow Bostonian of the Year Monica Cannon Grant. Or Tania Fernandes Anderson.

Still, the Henry hens may be a bit reluctant to embarrass themselves yet again by giving yet another free ride to someone as corrupt as Rachael Rollins.

Plus, Kevin Hayden does have one ace in the hole. Check out the photo above. Whenever Rachael accuses him of harboring insufficient hatred for The Man, he can point to this photograph from Kwanzaa 2023.

It’s Mr. District Attorney, on Beacon Street, heading into the Parkman House to attend Mayor Michelle Wu’s No-Whites-Allowed holiday party.

How dare you say I don’t support apartheid for Just Us? Look at this table of worthies!

He’s on the left, next to his conniving foe, Ricky Ricardo Arroyo. Too bad Hayden couldn’t have cozied up a little closer to the two worthies at the head of the table.

Those would be Conan Harris, Rep. Ayanna Pressley’s millionaire jailbird ex-drug trafficker husband, now a multimillionaire magnate in the “empowerment” industry. And next to him, the indicted High Sheriff of Suffolk County, Steve Tompkins, the would-be weed tycoon.

Vote for Hayden. He was there, at the famous We Hate Honkies Christmas Party.
