The Golden Globes were last night and while I know this will drive my listeners insane–I watched it.
What can I say? I can’t quit Hollywood cold turkey.
For the most part (there were a few exceptions) I thought the actual award ceremony was fairly fun and tolerable. Most winners appeared grateful, thanked their teams and kept it moving.
I was shocked that I wasn’t rolling my eyes more mid-way through the production.
But it turns out that a lot of celebs saved their virtue signaling political diatribes for the red carpet.
Case in point, Mark Ruffalo.
He wasn’t the only sanctimonious celeb taking a break from champagne, caviar and step and repeats to get on his soap box.
These rich beautiful people can’t help themselves.
